Braco electricals, from 1978, under the brand name " braco" manufactures quality cable glands and electrical terminals. As a part of that braco bi-metallic terminals / lugs are used for aluminum conductor. Braco bi-metallic terminals / lugs are manufactured from solid materials by friction welding. This method means that aluminum and copper join through the heat, which develops when aluminum rotates against copper under pressure. This is a superior method to give a complete connection between aluminum and copper. Barrels are caped and filled with grease so as to avoid oxidization of the aluminum.
