Product Profile of Color Masterbatches

Prayag Polytech [Pvt] Ltd manufactures Color Masterbatches. Prayag Polytech [Pvt] Ltd. Is an ISO 9002 company. The Color Masterbatches are manufactured by dispersing pigments in a suitable carrier. Pigments are insoluble substances, which impart color to the material in which they are incorporated. Pigments can be organic or inorganic in nature, natural or chemically synthesized.

Pigments are selected on the following basis:

• Pigment should be heat stable i.E. They should not degrade or discolor at the processing temperatures

• Pigment should be non-migrating and non-bleeding in nature so that they do not bloom or bleed out of the product during use

• Pigments must have adequate light stability so that the color of the product does not fade or change during its useful life

• Pigments should not have any adverse effect on the properties of polymers so that the product fails in service

• Pigments should be free of any toxic impurities if the end products is to be used for food, cosmetic or medical packing
