Features of electro guard, the safety light curtain: 7-segment display indicating channel-interruption; key bypass feature to bypass the light curtain; individual channel bypass feature; capable of defining zones of operation within the light curtain; designed to handle vibrations and shock; minimal effort for alignment of transmitter and receiver; in case of failure, the channel failed is indicated and can be bypassed till a service technician arrives, thus keeping the machine in operation; compact panel mounting controller; extremely sleek transmitter and receiver modules; and ensured protection for fingers, hands and personnel at presses, component assembly machines and at robot and insert stations. Two available models of safety light curtains, are, epg-8c and epg-16c, with detection zone height 300 and 600 mm respectively.
