The Low Temperature B.O.D Incubator is used for Biochemical Oxygen Demand determination. This Low Temperature B.O.D Incubator is a castor wheel mounted cabinet that is double walled with inner chamber of stainless steel and outer casing of M.S. Sheet duly painted. There is a gap of 75mm between the outer and the inner wall that is filled with special grade glass wool to prevent thermal losses. The triple walled back of the unit is fitted with two air circulation fans for maintaining the temperature uniformly throughout the chamber.
Heating elements of nicrome wire are placed in the air path and are duly insulated from the body. The inner chamber is ribbed for placement of shelves at desired heights. Lock and key arrangement is provided in the double walled outer door. Low Temperature B.O.D Incubator is fitted with door operated illumination lamp inside the chamber. The temperature of the B.O.D Incubator ranges from 5 Degree C to 50 Degree C that is controlled by digital temperature controller cum indicator. The B.O.D Incubator is available in various sizes such as 455mm x 610mm x 410mm, 505mm x 830mm x 415mm, etc.
