Measuring devices marked, with precision in efficiency like optical encoders and tacho-generators require precision-characterised flexible couplings, while installation on the object. Hi-tech engineers produce flexible shaft couplings. These flexible shaft couplings ensure faultless transmission of the measured angle position on the devices. At the same time, they accommodate parallel and angular misalignment and avoid imposition of over charge on the device shaft, which in turn increases the durability of the device and reliability in operation. Highlights of flexible shaft couplings: aluminium alloy angular misalignment up to 5°; single piece construction; set screw and hub type clamping; angular misalignment up to 5°; parallel misalignment up to 0.2 mm; no backlash; constant velocity transmission; no loose parts to eliminate generation of noises and vibrations; and also various choices available in torque.
