Soliton Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Is the manufacturer of 1K Color FireWire Camera, Model: V211_CFW1K. The 1K Color FireWire Camera is specifically designed for Machine Vision applications. This is a very cost effective color line scan camera suitable for slow speed conveyor applications. The color output is in direct RGB format and so no Bayer decoding is required. It is also a 1024 pixel CMOS color camera with an IEEE 1394a [FireWire] interface. The image output is direct RGB 24 bit color depth. The camera outputs a maximum of 2.8 K lines per second when it is set to the full resolution of 1024 pixels and a maximum of 4.9K lines per second at a resolution of 512 pixels. The camera provides 2x and 3x binning which improves the sensitivity of the camera by increasing the effective size of the pixel to a maximum of 19.2µm. This camera supports two trigger modes called Line per trigger and Frame per trigger.
The camera needs a 2/3-inch format C-mount lens, and should be selected based on the specific application. The 1394 cable to connect the camera to the 1394 Adapter card is available in standard lengths up to 15 feet. The camera has been tested with IEEE 1394 Image acquisition cards from National Instruments, and other manufacturers. The camera is also sold along with the camera configuration utility that can be used to set and modify all the camera parameters.
