This WORLD-BEAM QS30H2O Water Sensor was developed to detect the presence of water inside of transparent, translucent, and opaque containers. The QS30H2O is ideal for bottling and filling applications, where the customer wants to detect the presence or absence of water or water based substances. The WORLD BEAM ® QS30H2O High-Power Water Sensor is a photoelectric opposed mode sensor for detection of water and water-based material.

Main features of WORLD-BEAM QS30H2O Water Sensor include:

• Infrared emitting beam with a wavelength of 1450 nm tuned to the absorption band of water

• Powerful enough to pass through many plastic and glass containers including translucent materials

• Detection of water-based liquids including those with chemicals, alcohol, shampoo/conditioner, lotions and sauces

• Built-in electronic crosstalk avoidance allows multiple sensor pairs to be used in close proximity

• Accessory apertures available to attenuate or shape the beam

• Large, easy-to-read output status indicator located on the back of the receiver

• Rugged IP67 rating for harsh environments

• Washdown rated PW12 - tested with 1200 psi spray

• Receiver models include:
