Annpab technologies has developed a latest range of reel controllers, which are used with reelers/de-reelers. The reel controllers use rf sensors to control the material slackness within its field. As the loop changes height, it generates a position signal processed by signal conditioning circuitry. The resulting dc output voltage is fed into the drive of an electrical motor of those reel controllers to adjust the speed to maintain loop slackness or height. These reel controllers are useful for handling 1 mm wire sizes to strips with few inch width for both non-metallic wires or strips.
