GE Consumer & Industrial is offering Open Rack Outdoor Harmonic Filter Banks. These are specially manufactured for applications where power factor correction is required in a harmonic environment. These Open Rack Outdoor Harmonic Filter Banks are equipped with Reactor Equipment and Capacitor Equipment. The capacitors are connected in series with the reactor. Some key features of these Open Rack Outdoor Harmonic Filter Banks are as follows:

• Provide power factor correction, voltage support, & harmonic mitigation

• California certified 3rd party seismic analysis [as required]

• Tuned shunt harmonic filter banks

• 0.1 to 600 MVAR

• 2.4 to 38 kV

• Multiple fusing schemes:

• Fuseless greater than 15 kV

• Expulsion

• Current Limiting is greater than 4800 kVAR or 15 kJ per series section/phase

• Multi-step, Automatic switching designs available

• Protection, grounding, disconnect, & interlock options available
