A wide range of ac drives are supplied by vacon india, a wholly owned subsidiary of vacon plc, finland. Power range of these ac drives include: 0.25 kw to 5 mw in voltage range 200-690 v ac. The product range includes drives for hvac application, nxp drives for vertical movements like hoisting [cranes and elevators], regenerative drives for centrifuge, hoisting, roller table applications and drives for common dc bus applications like paper machine, steel making, etc. Following are some special features of these ac drives which include: built-in dedicated rf-ring frame software, built in plc function, built-in rfi filters, builtin input ac chokes to suppress input voltage surges and protect rectifier and also to suppress harmonics. The drives are ip54 rated and can be mounted directly on machines. All drives are at 50ºc ambient temperature. No derating is required.
