Flowmatics, a manufacturer of liquid filling, checking and oil vending machines, has launched a gravimetric filling machine which can be used for filling liquids like engine oil, edible oil, silicon oil, solvents, adhesives and vanaspati. The system consists of a controller, ss top platform, dual feed valve and its mounting structure. The microprocessor-based controller uses fast adc sampling and digital filtering technique for better filling accuracy and control response. A set of 16 keys is used to set the parameters like coarse feed, fine feed, inflight, tare, etc. Once the coarse feed set point is achieved, the coarse feed valve closes and the fine feed valve continues till the set weight is achieved. There is also provision for cumulative and batch totaliser display. Optionals are available for platforms with roller, pneumatically or electrically operated valves, computer interface, etc. The filling machines is obtainable in standard ranges of 5 kg, 20 kg, 30 kg, 200 kg and 500 kg.
