Steering is accomplished by skidding the tyres. All the 4 tyres are driven by individual hydromotor drives with built-in gearboxes. Right hand set of wheels are connected to one pump controlled by right hand lever, left hand set of wheels are connected to another pump controlled by left hand lever. The skid steer loader is recently designed and developed, this earth moving equipment is 100% on indigenous technology, which is provided with a hydro static drive, with no suspensions, axle, etc, also versatile for industrial applications. Different attachments like backhoe, anchor, rock breakers, dozer blades, sweeper can also be attached and used in the equipment. The present model sl-51 is of ½ tonne capacity with 0.27m³ volume utility bucket.
