Devraj hi-tech machines ltd. Is one of the biggest self-contained rice mill making unit in north india. The bran that comes out as the result of abrasive effect of cone polishers is a mixture of pure bran, fine husk particles and the germs. The mixture is either conveyed through a screw conveyor or pneumatic suction system. The germs, particles of husk and other non oily material such as rice broken, rice tips and other being bigger in size and at the same time heavier than rice bran can either be separated by a chalna or pneumatic bran separation system. In bran collectors two blowers are provided one bigger in size sucks the bran mixture out of polishers and collects it in a cyclone. Underneath this cyclone a pneumatic bend is provided which is connected with a smaller blower. The smaller blower`s speed and suction is adjusted so that it lifts only the oily bran and delivers it to another cyclone. Only the germs, husk, broken rice and tips are left under the pneumatic bend hence the mixture is fully classified. This is the most modern technique that works with uniformity and needs no consequent maintenance and thus operational cost is less.
