Kakamari Enterprises offers hinge clamps. These are suitable for machining of large objects where the entire surface is to be kept free from obstruction. These can also be used for clamping jobs having uneven and unmachined surface. To fix the job rigidly, a long baseplate with two T-nuts is used. This avoids reduction of clamping pressure due to slippage. Positive downward clamping is achieved by forward and downward hinge type action of moving jaw. Features: no limitation of job size because of two piece construction; maximum clamping force with minimum effort; and radial serrated jaw assures firm clamping. Applications: suitable for use on milling, shaping, drilling machines and surface grinder; can be used in the construction of fixtures. It is useful to clamp the job having height more than 50 mm. Material: main body made of graded CI clamping jaw and base plate made of hardened steel. Finish: blackodised or yellow passivated.
