Megger manufactures interface unit, meiu. It adds high-current, high volt-ampere output capability to the relay testing capability. It is a small, lightweight, field portable, interface unit specifically designed to control multi-amp. Interface unit interconnects multi-amp high-current output unit, models epoch-ii or epoch-20 unit. Touch view interface provides manual control of the high-current output unit output. The salient features of the interface unit are:

• High power units provide capability to test panel of relays or high burden electromechanical ground over current relays at high multiples of tap.

• High-current output unit can be used to perform transient dfr playback, when high-test currents are required.
