Strategi automation solutions offers state-of-the-art multi-axis motion controllers manufactured by galil motion control, usa, for precise and complex applications. The cards are available for 1-8 axis of control. They are available as pc based cards, which suit the pci, isa, vme, & pc104 buses. They are also available as standalone cards, which can communicate on rs232, usb and ethernet. These cards can be used for point-to-point, jogging, linear and circular interpolation, helical and tangential moves, contouring with teach and playback electronic gearing and electronic cam profiling. Servo motors are controlled using 10 v interface with the controller reading the encoder position to close the loop. Step motors are controlled using step & direction pulses. The controllers have dedicated inputs for limits and homes per axis. They also have freely configurable digital inputs and outputs at the ttl level. Options exist for additional digital inputs, outputs, 12-bit analogue inputs and an additional encoder input per axis of control. The motion controllers have a 32-bit microprocessor with onboard memory to store application programs and variables. They support c dlls for programming in c & c + +. An active x toolkit is available for programming from a visual environment, like vb, vc + +, delphi, lab view, wonderware, etc.
