Strategi automation solutions offers a full range of panasonic ac servo motors and digital servo drives from 0.025 mm [30 w] to 86 nm [8.6 kw] continuous stall torque, and speeds up to 5,000 rpm. Ac servo motors are preferred for those applications, which require stable speed control, precise positioning, quick response and accurate torque control. These motors have the highest torque per frame size in the industry. They are characterised by a flat torque curve from stall to rated speed. A choice of 2,500-ppr incremental encoder or 17-bit incremental/absolute encoder is available. The digital ac servo drive can close the current, velocity and position loops. All system and application parameters are set in software to ensure repeatability and eliminate drift. The a4 series drives have a velocity response frequency of 1,000 hz, the fastest in the industry. The drives are available in single-phase 220 v, three-phase 220 v and three-phase 400v options and come with built-in braking resistors, a standard ±10 v interface is available to command motor torque or velocity.
