Kobold messing gmbh has manufactured dog series volumetric flow meter for volumetric flow measurement with fluidistor oscillator. In this measurement procedure, a bypass leads a partial stream of the medium into the measuring cell by where the medium flows through a chamber with two flow channels. A gate in the measuring cell allows the stream to flow through either left or the right one and a connecting channel in the gate is fixed to connect the both sides. The flow creates overpressure on one side and under pressure on the other and this difference in pressure directs the media stream to other side. This feature means that the stream between the two sides starts to oscillate to further set the medium in the connecting channel into vibration. The frequency of the oscillation is directly proportional to the flow speed and is determined by a detector in the connecting channel and converts it into an electrical signal. The signal is processed further in the downstream electronic unit and then displayed or output in another form. The dog series of volumetric flow meter are useful for tough industrial use and are available with flange or intermediate flange versions; up to dn 400 nominal widths; and in grey cast iron, steel and stainless steel.
