Gelco offers automatic liquid level controller, which has been designed to have automatic operation of motor-pump set depending upon the level of liquid in underground as well as overheand tank. When the water reaches below set low level in overhead tank, the unit will switch on the motor pump set automatically. Similarly when the water level reaches to high level in the overhead tank, it will switch off the motor-pump set, provided underground tank is full of water. If water level falls below set low level in underground tank, it will also switch off the motor pump-set though overhead tank is empty. Thus preventing the motor-pump set from dry running. It is available in different models, namely llc1 & llc2. Model llc1 can be used for three phase motors with dol or fasd starters. While model llc2 can be used for single phase motors up to 2 hp and model llc25 can be used for single phase submersible pumps. Model llc1 measures 140 x 95 x 90 mm and weighs 650 gm approx; while models llc2 and llc25 measure 165 x 165 x 85 mm and weigh 1.6 kg approx, each. Special magnetic sensors can be used for non-conductive liquids.
