Reva industries offers flexible gear couplings. It conforms ipss:1-01-005-86 specifications followed by the indian steel industry. These couplings are distinguished for the highest possible torque transmission capability, greater mechanical flexibility and ease of compensation for angular, parallel and axial misalignments of connected shafts with minimum power loss. Gear hubs and the outer sleeves are made of medium carbon steel. The teeth are induction hardened to 42 hrc to achieve longer life. The teeth are generated through involute system having 30 degree pressure angle to make a quantum break using coupling design and performance feature made possible by precision machining and manufacturing tolerances. The coupling parts and gears can be interchanged.
