All components are machined using jigs and fixtures to close tolerances, thus providing easy interchangeability. The main spindle is supported on anti-friction taper roller bearing. Steel parts are made from en-8 steel. Rotating parts are made from closed grain cast iron. Spindle runout is within 10 microns. The machines need minimum care and low maintenance cost. A wide variety of optional accessories are available for higher productivity. Applications are in shopfloor and workshop, and in all types of engineering and industrial use. The conventional lathe machines are mainly suitable for mass batch production.
