Chhota Flange Macintosh Blades are slightly modified version of Macintosh laryngoscope blades. In Chhota flange Macintosh blades, the anterior flange are reduced to decrease the force upon the maxillary incisors in order to prevent damage to the teeth. A channel in the blade provides a means through which an endotracheal tube may be inserted after visualizing the cords. These blades are available only in one size and are used in nursing home & hospitals.
