Procon technologies provides universal panel meters [model fd-5000] from fuji electric, japan. These are highly modular 1/8 din panel meters with up to 18 different field-replaceable input boards. There is no need to stock a variety of panel meters. The panel meters offer optional alarms and analog outptus, in addition to rs232 or rs485 communications functions. They are easily connected to a pc to process and control various data. The universal panel meters accept inputs from temperature probes, pressure transducers, load cells, strain gauges, potentiometers, pulse inputs, large voltage and current signals. This makes them ideal for demanding process applications, such as food, textiles, and automotive.
