The dc type proximity sensors are available in dc 2, 3 and 4-wire type, whereas the ac proximity sensors are by default 2 wire type. Dc proximity sensors work with 12-24 v dc and ac proximity sensors with 100-240 v ac. The company also can provide proximity sensors with no/nc/no+nc combinations. The proximity sensors apart from normal sensing ranges also come in extended sensing ranges as well as more sensing range with same housing.
