Autonics corporation provides pid temperature controllers. These pid temperature controllers are auto-tuning, avoid the oscillations when the process value changes along with this these temperature controllers also avoid the steady state error. They can be set as pidh high speed pid or as slow speed pids. There can be 13 kinds of inputs connected to the pid controllers. These are thermocouples, rtds, and current/voltage inputs. The outputs are in the form of relays, ssrs, current and rs485 communication outputs. The 4-20 ma retransmission output for recording is also available from the controllers .Apart from these outputs, there are alarm outputs like sba and lba .The sba alarm turns on when the sensor line is cut or open. Function of lba is to diagnose an abnormal temperature of the control system. If the temperature of the control system is not changed within :t 2°c during setting time of lba, the lba output will be on. According to constructional point of view different sizes of controllers are available with 48 mm x 48 mm, 48 mm x 96 mm, 96 mm x 48 mm, 72 mm x 72 mm, 96 mm x 96 mm.
