Autonics offers a wide range of photoelectric sensors that are widely used for industrial automation. These sensors are available in different categories. Diffuse type sensors are used for lower ranges where the reflector or two separate mountings are not possible. Retro-reflective type sensors are used where more range is required. Through beam type sensors are with separate emitter and receiver housings with maximum sensing ranges. Micro sensors are miniature in size and are basically small through beam switches. Diffuse type sensors are available with external sensitivity adjustment using the potentiometer. All sensors are available with led indication for the status. They are also available from 5 mm to 20 mete sensing ranges. Fork shaped sensors with 30 mm and 50 mm sensing ranges are also available. Cylindrical shape optic sensors offer maximum mounting comfort with the threaded housing and locknuts. Typical applications are to detect the target passed in narrow spaces, detection of fallen bottles on a conveyor, to detect label of a transparent bottle, to guide the goods passing an automatic conveyor line, to measure the frequency of rotation of a rotating object, detection of broken drill bits, to detect the transparent bottles using the retroreflective type, sensing the position of a moving target, position detection of elevator.
