Delta vfd-e drive is high performance, flexible extension micro type ac drive with a maximum of 15 hp rating. This sensorless vector drive has an added advantage of built-in plc function with which we can easily develop plc program hence reducing the cost of plc. To reduce electromagnetic interference, built-in emi filter is added & this drive can be installed side by side without any clearance or space, hence reducing the panel size. Standard modbus communication feature via rs-485 makes it versatile for communication with different products. Dc bus sharing option enables connecting multiple drives in parallel to share the regenerative braking energy and stabilize the dc bus voltage. It is fully equipped with all the protection options such as high precision current detection, three levels over load protection, over-voltage/over-current stall prevention, short circuit protection, and reset after fault, speed search function and motor over heat protection by ptc. With modular structure it has various optional extension modules such as i/o cards, relay cards, pg [encoder] card and usb card to meet various application requirements. Connection to variety of networks is now possible with the optional field bus module which include profibus, device net, lonworks and canopen [under development]. Overload endurance 150% of rated current for 1 minute. This drive is equipped with all the features required for oem and spm application such as vector control, pid control, fan & pump control, accel/decel s-curve, parameter lock which increases its importance.
