Tulex industrial tools is a manufacturer of square drive adapters in two types, viz, manual and impact. Manual square drive adapters are used as converters to permit use of sockets and driving tools of different square drive sizes. These adapters are available in 1/4" [6.35 mm], 3/8" [9.5 mm], 1/2" [12.7 mm], 3/4" [19 mm], 1" [25.4 mm], 1/2" [38.1 mm] square drives. The torque capacity of these adapters is limited to the torque capacity of smaller square drives. Impact square drive adapters are used as converters to permit use of sockets with impact wrenches of different square drive sizes, ie, higher or lower. These adapters are available in 1 /4" [6.3 mm], 3/8" [9.5 mm], 1/2" [12.7 mm], 3/4" [19 mm], 1" [25.4 mm], 1/2" [38.1 mm] and 2/2" [63.5] square drives of adjacent reducing and increasing combinations of male and female drives, they are of two designs, square drive adapters with two cross holes for conventional impact wrenches and square drive adapters with groove for locking ring and pin arrangements for impact wrenches with cross hole on male square drive.
