Eri manufactures solid state relays [ssr] with direct copper bonded [dcb] thyristor chips. These thyristor chips are bonded on ceramic substrates by special soldering process. Ssrs with dcb offer very unique advantages like: much higher load cycle resistance due to mechanically strong interconnection, copper to ceramic; thermal co-efficient of expansion as low as ceramic; higher thermal cycling resistance; good heat spreading; very high current carrying capacity; and, high fusing current. The ssrs with dcb are available from 50 to 100 amps.
