Eri manufactures the much awaited solid state relay [ssr] with direct copper bonded [dcb] ceramic substrates in the popular hockey puck package. The company, with long experience in handling various industrial switching applications, has successfully designed and tested higher current rated ssrs. The new ssr with dcb ceramic substrate comes with definite advantages like a much higher load cycle resistance due to mechanically strong interconnection, copper to ceramic; thermal co-efficient of expansion as low as ceramic; higher thermal cycling resistance; good heat spreading; very high current carrying capacity; and, high fusing current. During the first phase, the company is releasing the ssr with dcb ceramic substrate up to 75 amps.
