Spareage india manufactures v-rings that are axial face seals pre manufactured from pure elastomer without any metal and fabric reinforcement. These v-rings are used as single seals against dirt, dust, water, grease, oil, etc. They are also used as secondary seals to protect main rotary sealing element, which protects the bearings of heavy-duty machines. The sealing lip slides on a mating surface at right angle to the shaft. These rings rotate with the shaft and seals axially against a stationary counter face. The counter face can be end face of the bearing, a washer, stamping, bearing housing, or even the metal case of an oil seal. The flexible lip provides adequate sealing even in applications with considerable end play and shaft misalignment. The v-rings can be stretched and installed directly over flanges, shaft and bearing housing without dismantling.
