Spareage india provides bonded seals [style bs] a combination of nbr seal rings and metal back-up rings. Constructionally these nbr seal rings are bonded perfectly to the inner portion of the metal back-up rings. When a bolt is tightened with the bs seal, the nbr seal ring having a trapezoidal cross section gets compressed to an extent where the bolt cannot be further tightened due to the metal back-up ring. Under such state, the nbr seal ring not only has a preload pressure on the mating surface higher than the pressure being sealed, but also forms the profile of a u-ring to withstand higher pressures. The bs seals can also be provided in high temperature resistant material on request. Features include: high-pressure resistance, metal back-up, most suitable profile, standard dimensions, etc. Technical specifications are temperature of -30ºc to +100ºc [up to 200ºc available on request]; and pressure at 100 bar. These bonded seals find its applications in general-purpose seals, high-pressure resistance applications, etc.
