Chemical-resistant floorings from crescent technologies are very effective to save rcc construction from erosion due to corrosion of different chemicals. Usually acid resistant tiles are applied to prevent chemical corrosion. The highly concentrated chemicals separate the cemented joints of the tiles and later uproot the tiles. In industrial purposes where regular maintenance is not possible it finds wide application. Ppg with inherent strong cohesive property enables the attachment with parent surface near to permanent, and the homogenous welding process of the sheet eliminates the possibility of the seepage from the joints. There are some standard features such as pp impervious to most of the chemicals, maintenance-free, cohesive property with ms & rcc it and near to the permanent. It has several other unique features like economical than acid resistant tiles, execution time quite less in comparison to acid resistant tiles, curing time is nil, and simple concrete surface required. For its huge advantages it is widely used in dm plant acid handling area, drains & pits, neutralizing pit, chemical storage tank, battery room, process area where there is spillage of acid.
