Fujitsu microelectronics asia pte ltd [fmal] has manufactured two new controller lsis that support the idb-1394 standard for in-vehicle multimedia networks. The company claims the mb88388a lsis to be the first device to support vehicle navigation imaging using idb-1394 standard. High quality and cost effective rear-seat entertainment can be achieved by combining mb88388a with mb88389 ic for 1394-compliant audio.
