Fujitsu microelectronics asia offers a pair of 8-bit microcontrollers [the mb95f128 and mb95f168m]. These 8-bit micro controllers are used in household appliances and digital audio/video equipment. The two mcus are the newest additions to the f2mc-8fx family of 8-bit microcontrollers. This 8-bit micro controller features low power consumption and high performance. Following are some of the electrical features of 8-bit micro controller which have built-in lcd controllers, with flashing lcds that include hardware-based settings. With 60kb flash memory, the mb95f128 is provided in a 100-pin lqfp package and runs off either 5v or 3v, making it appropriate as an lcd controller for low-voltage devices such as phones and electronic blood pressure meters. The mb95f168m with 60kb flash memory is provided in a 64-pin lqfp package that runs off 5v, making it best suited for lcds on microwave ovens, rice cookers, electric heaters and other appliances.
