Chemical & industrial engineers [cie] has introduced a wide range of level gauges - tubular, reflex and transparent with shut-off ball check valves. These gauges are used to measure and observe liquid levels under difficult or hazardous conditions. The gauges are made from solid cooled rolled bar stock materials for medium pressure and temperature. Forged steel is used for high pressure and temperature applications.. Recessed smooth finished gasket seats avoid gasket movement and assure leak free service. Tempered borosilicate glass, resistant to thermal and mechanical shock, is used for temperature up to 200°c and glass tube tough moulded and klinger glasses are used for temperature up to 400°c. A sharp prism cut in the reflex glass provides maximum reflexability. Gauges are offered in different materials like ss 316/304, carbon steel, as-105, aluminium, etc. These come with flanged or screwed process connection for a maximum length of 10 feet [3 mt] and pressure of 10 kg/cm² to 250 kg/cm². The gauges are manufactured in rubber/lead lined, pvc, pp materials, etc, for corrosive applications. For sub-zero temperature, non-frosting shield is used to suit the special process conditions and heating/cooling jackets are also given.
