Mecshot blasting equipments offers dry shot-peening machine along with shot classifier and offline shot separator system for shot peening of strain rods. Shot peening increases the fatigue strength, eliminates failure in existing design, allows the component to be used more safely and permits size, weight reduction for new design, and removes micro cracks. The machine is featured with horizontal gun reciprocation, track extension and rollers for job loading unloading and rotation, automatic shot [media] recovery, dust collection and shot classifier with offline shot separator. The machine operates on direct pressure principle of shot peening. The operator places the job on the rollers, which are mounted on track extension. The rollers are rotated through a drive by which the job rotates. When the job enters the cabinet, blasting is started. Guns move horizontally, and thus the external surface of rods gets peened. Used shots and dust created during blasting are sucked through a suction hose to a reclaimer where shots are reclaimed and collected via classifier in a storage tank for recycling, and the dust is carried ahead and collected inside pleated bags and clean air is discharged into the atmosphere.
