Micon automation systems manufactures model atc 107 bi-directional isolated interface converter. These bi-directional isolated interface converters are optically isolated and can convert unbalanced, full or half duplex rs 232 signals to optically isolated balanced full or half duplex rs 422 or rs 485 signals at baud rates up to 115.2 kbps. These converters are provided with auto selectable features. The atc107 isolated interface converters are available with technical specifications like 2,500 v high voltage protection; powered from dc 9 v, 200 ma power adaptor; one slide switch used to configure operation mode; send data control circuitry and thus handshake line not required in rs485 mode. These isolated interface converters can provide point-to-point, multidrop and simplex operations.
