Jeltron manufactures model lc2 solid-state soft start control for standard three-phase ac squirrel cage induction motors. These soft starters are useful for providing adjustable starting torque and stepless acceleration for use in series with an isolating contactor. The lc2 model soft starter control offers soft starting and also smooth, stepless, soft start controls to reduce wear on power transmission components and eliminate product breakage and spillage. Soft starting reduces about 70% motor inrush current.
