Key Features of Electronic Motor Overload Relay Protection Device

• The model JMP1 Electronic Motor Overload Relay with built-in single phase preventor is designed to protect the three phase AC induction motor against burn-outs due to overload, phase failure, reverse phasing unbalance voltage conditions, high/low voltage conditions, etc.
• It overcomes all the limitations of thermal overload relays to give a fool-proof protection to all three phase motors.
• It senses the line current components flowing through the motor and reacts very fast to the overload.
• Two ranges are set for overload, the High range is for the inrush current limit adjustable from 200% to 800% of FLA and the Low range for running current range is from 50% to 150% of FLA [full load amperage]. A delay time on range change when full speed is reached is adjustable from 1 to 10.
• Electronically generates overload characteristics with higher repeat accuracy even at elevated temperatures.
