Innovations unlimited presents float type overflow switch, a simple, cheap highly reliable and easy to service solution for automatic control of water supply to overhead tanks and loft tanks. There is a plastic bottle containing a float which operates a standard micro switch, rated for 230 v, 5 a. The overflow from the overhead tank is attached to the inlet of the plastic bottle containing the float. When the water-level rises, the micro switch turns off, thereby switching off the pump or solenoid valve that supplies the water. A small opening at the bottom of the bottle acts as a timer by releasing the water in the bottle.
