The successful line of global measuring machines now includes a new model- the global 5.X.5, ideal for the inspection of small-sized parts. The global 5.X.5, competitive both in price and performance, is available in two models, global 5.5.5 and global 5.7.5 [respectively with measuring ranges x=500 mm, y =500 mm, z=500 mm and x=500 mm, y=700 mm, z=500 mm] and, like all machines of the line, in the three versions: classic, performance, advantage [the latter for the 5.7.5 model only]. Maximum operating flexibility and broad array of configurations available are peculiarities of the new 5.X.5, like of all global measuring machines. The global5.X.5 allows to mount most of the measuring sensors from hexagon metrology as well as those from other brands. Unlike the common cmms with z=400 mm measuring range, the globai5.X.5 with z measuring range of 500 mm, allows to mount automatic index able probe heads and still offers a bigger measuring volume in z. The performance and advantage versions, in their basic configuration, are set to mount optional sensors for continuous scanning. All versions integrate a temperature compensation system ensuring high performance over an extended temperature range [16-26°c].
