Automatic Changeover Programmable Current Limiter is designed to restrict the DG current drawn by Individual loads. It allows normal unrestricted EB current to the load and whenever EB supply fails, it automatically connects the load to DG supply and continuously monitors the DG current drawn by Individual loads. Automatic Changeover Programmable Current Limiter is available with -50 °C to 55.0 °C operating temperature. Whenever DG load current exceeds the programmed Trip current, the supply to the load is switched off for a particular programmed Time [TOFF] allowing the user to disconnect non essential loads, thereby reducing DG current drawn by the user & bring it within allowed limit. The DG supply to the load is again resumed after the laps OD TOFF period and load current is monitored, if it is within the programmed Trip current limit, the DG power is allowed to be drawn by the load. If the EB supply resumes, the load automatically changes over to EBsupply even though DG is on.
