Mahims systems adds new miniature series a3005 to its existing range of optical encoders. These are used in application of cut to length, speed monitor, x y tables, ac/dc/servo drives, cam limit switch, etc. This light weight [120 gm] encoder has a diameter of 30 mm and height of approximately 40 mm with wide range of supply voltage from 5 v to 30 v dc. In certain range of pulses per revolution maximum rpm is 6000, it has servo mounting and protection are the other features. In the existing series a5810 new addition of 1000 ppr can be used in high speed application up to 8600 rpm.
