Mro-tek ltd has launched the lvv2424 ethernet media converter concentrator and the ivy01 fast ethernet cpe to deliver managed, fast ethernet connects over fibre for delivering broadband services. The products are suited to carriers, service provider networks and large-campus networks. The lvy2424 houses 24 fast ethernet media converters with varying flavours supporting long-distance, single-mode fibre and single fibre connects. It supports snmpv2 providing standards-based management. When working opposite the ivy01 as the cpe, last-mile management is supported with advanced operation and maintenance features including dying gasp.
