Analogue Surface Profile Gauge is used as a tool for assessment of degree surface preparation or surface cleanliness before painting. The Gauge can also be used to measure the effects of corrosion such as pitting and cavity depth. The Surface Profile Gauge allows the peak to valley height of blast-cleaned surfaces to be accurately measured in a proper manner. Analogue Surface Profile Gauge is initially set to zero with the glass zero plate.
