Stmicroelectronics has developed latest range st23ys02 and st23ys08 series secure microcontrollers for banking, loyalty card and other financial applications. The secure microcontrollers are manufactured on 0.13-micron process technology and provide optimized computing power for advanced secure applications. The company supplies st23ys02 and st23ys08 secure microcontrollers comprising 2 kb and 8 kb eeprom, respectively. These secure microcontrollers are available with an advanced des accelerator and supported by `advanced encryption services` cryptography.
