Some of the features of Swimming Pool Plants are:

• Ultra Filtration - Cross Flow: Ultra filtration is relatively recent entry into water purification field. The concept is quite simple. Water is made to flow across a membrane and with sufficient forward velocity to sweep the surface clean of the particles which are too large to pass through the holes. These particles are kept moving forward in the membrane until they are flushed out of the system as concentrated waste. Approximately 5% of the water entering the UF is wasted on continuous basis. Due to the low usage at present, about 11% is wasted at this stage. In this process, this water is sent back to the receiving tank for reprocessing.

• Reverse Osmosis - Cross flow: The key cross flow membrane process for use in RO is a highly efficient technique for dewatering process, concentrating/ separating low molecular weight substance in solution or cleaning waste water. It has ability to concentrate/remove all the dissolved and suspended solids from water. While typically used in large scale desalination of brackish and sea water, RO has also application in household, residential apartments, hotels, resorts, hospitals etc.

• Nano Filtration - Crossflow: Nano filtration is selected when ultra filtration and RO are not the correct choice for separation. Nano filtration can perform in separate application such as de-minerisalation, color removal and desalination. In the concentration of organic solute, suspended solids and polyvalent ions, permeates [what comes through the membrane] contains monovalent ions and low molecular weight organic solutions like alcohol, acids etc.
