The tracker 2000 is a distributed sensor network comprising four types of stations. Each station of the tracker 2000 runs its own independent program, conveying and acquiring data according to the task. Up to 100 sensor stations can be networked together. The tracker 2000 offers four operating modes for process monitoring and data collecting, including a nonstop tracking mode, unidirectional and bi-directional peak modes for uncomplicated processes and unique profile tracking for more complex ones. The distributed network approach of the tracker 2000 rules out the need for a central controller.
