Product Profile of High Vacuum and Temperature Furnaces
The High Vacuum and Temperature Furnaces are used for Sintering, Brazing and other Metallurgical applications for use both in R&D laboratories and commercial production. The furnaces are custom built as per customers` specifications. Microtorr Vacuum Systems Pvt. Ltd. Is manufacturing High Vacuum and Temperature Furnaces.
Microtorr Vacuum Systems Pvt. Ltd. Supplies high quality vacuum systems, furnaces and accessories. These High Vacuum and Temperature Furnaces are designed for an optimum temperature of 1700 Degree C and vacuum to the order of over 10-5 mbar or better. The furnaces can also be available under partial pressure of inert gas.
Major components/subsystems of High Vacuum and Temperature Furnaces are:
- Vacuum Chamber: Double walled, stainless steel chamber, with the required feed through and full opening lift swing type door on top.
- High Vacuum Pumping Module: High efficiency fractionating type oil diffusion pump with an electro-pneumatically operated angle valve, roughing and backing valves and integrated traps [both water-cooled and liquid nitrogen cooled].
- Hot Zone: Dimensions are designed to suit individual customer requirements.
- Heating Elements and Insulation: Pure graphite woven tapes connected to bus bars through individually replaceable graphite pegs and alumina bushes. The system is insulated with highly efficient graphite felts suitable for high temperature insulation.
- Sensors - PT/Pt-Rh: Measurement and control is enabled with 13% thermocouples and PID controllers. Option for recorders, scanners or computer interface. Interface can be provided. For operational temperatures above 1500 deg. C, Tungsten-Rhenim thermocouples are provided.
- Power Supply: A combination of autostat and step-down low voltage high current transformer enabling fine control or Thyristor-controlled power supply provided.
- Control Console: Sequentially interlocked logic control with push-button operational contacts; control cabinet housing with gauges for temperature, vacuum; recorders, volt/ammeters, LED graphic display, etc.
- Safety Features: Safety features include automatic shut down in the event of insufficient water/air supply and power failure.
